Dietz & Watson has engaged Centurion under a multi-phase design-build contract to execute a comprehensive facility expansion and site improvement program. The project includes a 34,000-square-foot production addition, a 4,000-square-foot palletizing and packaging addition, and a 2,000-square-foot entrance addition and renovation. Site work also includes the construction of a new entrance drive, complete with a guard house, visitor restroom facilities, and a truck scale, to enhance site security and traffic control.
Centurion provided integrated architectural, structural, mechanical, and civil engineering services from initial concept development through permitting and construction documentation. Leveraging an in-depth understanding of Dietz & Watson‚s production processes, Centurion developed a phased construction and sequencing plan designed to maintain uninterrupted plant operations throughout the project. Upon completion of the project, the expanded production, packaging, and shipping areas have increased throughput capacity, improved material ̦ow, and enhanced overall operational efficiency.
